PROGRAM OVERVIEW
The program has developed a unique 5-year partnership between Cliffside Park School District and Palisade Park School District. The consortium is truly committed to providing high quality services and resources to children and their families. The partnership will allow extraordinary Enrichment activities that include recreation and off-side environmental camp experience. Truly, the slogan, “We build strong kids, strong communities, and strong families”, illustrates the essence of our united mission. Assistance with homework and healthy snacks will be provided during homework.
Student will then move on to program activities such as academic activity, enrichment elective, or prevention activity.
PROGRAM GOALS
1. To supplement the education of students in grades 4 – 12 enrolled in the district’s schools with over 30% poverty.
2. To assist students in attaining the skills necessary to meet New Jersey’s Core Curriculum Standards by providing students with academic enrichment opportunities that complement the regular school day.
3. To provide high quality educational and enrichment program that will enable students to improve academic achievement and promote positive behavior and appropriate social interaction with peers.
4. To provide adults with the skills necessary to acquire literacy skills and to enable them to become involved, informed parents.

PROGRAM AND SCHOOL CLOSINGS
21ST CCLC programs will operate each full session day that the Cliffside Park Schools are open. The program does not operate on one-session days unless otherwise announced.
In the event of an emergency closing, Cliffside Park CCLC does not operate. Cliffside Park Schools, 21st Century staff, student and parents will be notified of program closing via telephone, email and school intercom announcements. If you have any questions regarding the closing of the 21st Century program, contact the program coordinator or our officers.
