Provides principals, supervisors and coordinators to serve on planning committee. Offers programs at School # 3, School # 6, and CPHS. Hosts all meetings of the Advisory Committee. Funds half-time program coordinator. Funds program evaluator. Funds program secretary. Collects all data for evaluation. Offers on- going professional development and invites staff from all Palisades Park to participate. Performs all duties of LEA defined in RFP. |

Provides ESL and Title I Coordinators to implement and monitor programs. Shares professional development programs. Provides Korean translation and liaison for all program partners. Shares all materials. Pilots new ESL programs to share. |
Jewish Family Services |
Provides expertise in areas of addressing needs of immigrant population. Provides wide array of referrals to community services. Provides counseling, professional development, support groups and parent training. Provides resources to identify translators, etc. Provides character education programs and support groups. Provides on site clinician to assist with family needs. |
Cliffside Park Public Library |
Provides site for adult classes. Provides site for literacy programs for children and families. |
Rutgers University Center for Math, Science and Computer Education. |
Harriet Schweitzer, Assistant Director, serves on Advisory Committee and offers advice on improving curriculum through technology integration. Offers advice and strategies for test preparation. Is serving as the district Comprehensive School Reform Model Implementer. CMSCE staff is contracted as consultants to provide on-going meaningful professional development and in class support for integrating technology into the classroom. All sessions are followed by in-class support for teachers. Created an online course on classroom management for new administrators, teachers, and guidance counselor. Provide purchasing advice on selecting handheld and laptop computers. Provide curriculum expertise for math and science programs. Provides training on Intel: Teach to the Future, Math Amigo and Study Island Programs. Provides training for teachers in distance learning, differentiated instruction, and technology integration. |
New Directions in Excellence in Education |
Will be continuing to serve as a consultant to provide literacy- based in service training and in class support for elementary school teachers. Will serve as literacy coach to assist elementary teachers with the teaching of writing. |
