A school resource officer (SRO) is assigned to Cliffside Park High School. One of the goals of this position is to be to establish and maintain a sound relationship between students and police and between the school community. This working partnership ensures that all students continue to receive an excellent education in a safe environment. The SRO also offers guidance on security and crisis-response planning, drug-abuse prevention, gang avoidance, and conflict resolution.
