Welcome to the Cliffside Park School District Office of Information Technology
The Cliffside Park School District recognizes the need for effectively utilizing and integrating technology into elementary and secondary education to prepare our students for the evolving demands of the 21st Century. We recognize the need for both technology literacy skills as well as problem solving skills, and by including technology as an integral component of a well-balanced K – 12 program, our school system assures that our students will become proficient information and technology users. We have created an environment where all students have the opportunity to successfully achieve the core curriculum content standards using technology as one instrument to achieve this objective. We also recognize the fact that to effectively harness the benefits of technology, our teachers, administrators and support staff need to understand how to use technology for effective teaching and learning. We are therefore committed to provide technology-focused professional development at various levels, as well as provide instructional support to teachers who use technology. With technology as a tool, we will ensure that our students are prepared for the technological revolution of the 21st Century.
