Cliffside Park School #4 Students Welcome Special Guest
For the conclusion of “Read Across America” month, School #4 students had a special guest reader, Mrs. Judy Coughlin, wife of NY Giants head football coach, Tom Coughlin. Mrs. Coughlin visited on Tuesday, March 26th to emphasize the importance of reading. Mrs. Coughlin read Stand Tall, Molly Lou Melon to the younger students in grades K-3. For the older students in grades 4-6, she read excerpts from her husband’s new book, Earn the Right to Win. She stressed the importance of pride in oneself, hard work, setting goals and being prepared. Following the reading, Mrs. Coughlin entertained questions from the students. Students learned many interesting facts not only about the Giants’ organization but also about the Coughlin family. School #4 thanks Mrs. Coughlin for her visit and words of wisdom. It was truly a memorable experience for all students and faculty.
